This week, Noon Development celebrated the grand opening of Riverfront Medical Center in The Bend with a ribbon cutting hosted by the Chattanooga Area Chamber of Commerce.
Located at 1247 Riverfront Parkway, this building is part of The Bend, an upcoming 110-acre mixed-use community on Chattanooga’s waterfront. The medical practice building is the first new construction at The Bend and is occupied by Riverfront Surgery Center, Athena Esoterix and Four Bridges Dermatology & Cosmetics.
“We are excited about these tenants and look forward to seeing the incredible work this new space allows them to do,” said Todd Kimling of Noon Development. “With this building already full, we are able to announce that we will be expanding the building and offering additional medical practices for rent. Ownership options are also available.
Riverfront Surgery Center was the anchor tenant of Riverfront Medical Center. This Ambulatory Surgical Center is a modern healthcare facility providing same-day ambulatory surgical care.
“We’ve brought together a fantastic group of surgeons to open this center,” said spine surgeon and Riverfront Surgery Center investor Dr. Jay Jolley, MD, MBA. “As an independent surgery center, Riverfront can easily meet the needs of our patients. We offer our patients flexibility, convenient parking, and the best possible experience during their surgeries. »
Athena Esoterix, a locally founded company, is responding to the immense need for COVID-19 testing resources by offering molecular detection and microbial testing in the Chattanooga area.
“This new space has really given us the key we need to achieve our goal of expanding the services we offer,” said Athena co-founder Dr. Dawn Richards. “We are on the path to expand our capabilities and enter the field of next-generation sequencing, which will give us the ability to test not only COVID and influenza, but also 280 other respiratory pathogens, as well as a variety of other panels. .”
Four Bridges Dermatology opened after recognizing an opportunity to provide greater access to dermatology services in Chattanooga, as there are currently only seven other board-certified dermatologists in the area.
“By creating Four Bridges, we hope to fill this need while providing exceptional medical, cosmetic and pediatric dermatology care in the heart of the city,” said Four Bridges Dermatology & Cosmetics co-founder Dr. Deanna Brown. “We are also proud to be a medical practice entirely owned and run by women. We hope to inspire the next generation of young women in health and business. »
Noon Development is currently pre-leasing office space for the Riverfront Medical Center Phase II expansion, which includes a 10,300 square foot extension to the building. For those interested in joining the development of The Bend, contact Todd Kimling at 498-5480 or [email protected]
